  • How Do I Learn More About the Dept.?

The department meets/trains every Thursday at 7:00pm. This is an ideal time to come down to meet current members and get a better idea of the variety of departmental functions.

What If I Have No Experience?

No problem. If you’re willing to learn we have training that every new firefighter completes. We also conduct ongoing drills at the fire station and around the community. We’re looking for people who are willing to spend a little time making North Huntingdon a safer environment while enjoying the experience.

I Think I'm Too Busy To Join

This is the same situation for every member, that’s why you’re important! While we have some minimum requirements, we ask people to respond when they’re available.

    What Are the Age Requirements?

Senior members must be at least 18 years old. We are actively recruiting junior members, that are between 14-18 years old, with parental consent.
